C.M. Soliz is the author of the psychological thriller and horror novels The Angel of Death, The Crimson Doorway, and Shadow on the Overpass. Drawing on a career in real-world investigation, Soliz writes dark, atmospheric fiction about ordinary people who notice too much. Soliz’s next novel, Close Tolerance, follows a small-town machinist drawn into his late father’s hunt for a serial killer.
Long Bio
C.M. Soliz writes psychological thrillers, crime fiction, and supernatural horror. Before writing fiction, Soliz spent 15 years working real investigations as a Texas Government Investigator, an experience that shapes the procedural detail and the psychology of every book.
Soliz has been publishing since 2019. The Angel of Death is a procedural crime thriller about a killer who stages his scenes for an audience. The Crimson Doorway is a supernatural psychological thriller inspired by real events. Shadow on the Overpass is a psychological drama about a man everyone leans on and no one sees. All three are available in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover, and free to read with Kindle+.
Soliz’s next novel, Close Tolerance, a small-town Ohio thriller about a machinist and his late father’s unsolved case, is coming January 2027.
